Can't verify yet but hearing that us on the #NatGeoEndurance may have been the only ship at sea to have found a weather window to view #totality. Assuming there are 200 or so people on Antarctica that saw it, I may have been one of 350 or so people in the world to have seen it. pic.twitter.com/vZ9cJzwzP5

National Geographic Endurance.

Yesterday, #NatGeoEndurance was in the path of #solareclipse2021 in the Southwest Atlantic Ocean near #Antarctica. Experts were on hand to provide scientific context & photographers braved the challenging conditions to capture the event.

What I captured was far from unique but it was nice to snap a few photos and then put the camera down to enjoy in the moment. Here is what it looked like a bit later. #totalsolareclipse#antarcticapic.twitter.com/NsGMwzjvPz
